Etienne Aigner

Etienne Aigner Handbags

Shortly after World War II Etienne Aigner gave up his bookbinding business and turned to producing fine leather handbags.  His work was so unique it caught the attention of Christian Dior and Molyneux.  It wasn't long and he had a new base in New York producing his signature brass 'A' rot bags, otherwise known as the burgundy bag.

Aigner was Hungarian born in 1904 and left his craft for the final time in 2000.  His unique love for leather designed handbags carries on as you will see from the many designs still available today.  Below are very affordable Aigner handbags in New, Gently Used, and Vintage designs.
